Set on a spacious, one kilometer boulevard, ZAP is a Cairene’s little slice of freedom. The pedestrianized hub will have street performers, romantic benches, and decorative elements that’ll create a cultural spectacle. Dogs catching frisbees, people getting their daily cardio in at outdoor gyms, and outdoor libraries with people exchanging books will set the tone for culture to thrive. Kiosks and F&B carts will swirl flavor into the air as you walk around, lost between the choices of what you could experience. It may be a strip, but it packs a huge punch of flavor for Cairo’s urban culture. Zayed’s new promenade will put Las Ramblas and Convent Garden to shame.
